Our WBA HISTORY
A.K. Sabir (Abdul Kareem), our beloved founder and brother (RA) and a dear and valued pioneer, successful businessman and self-made millionaire in our community is the one who envisioned and initially created the “American Wealth Builders (AWB).” This was an effort missioned to strategically organize, develop and expand our community-based businesses locally and nationally into one connected, cooperative associated collective. Upon his untimely passing, his estate decided to dissolve the AWB organization. However, a core group of brothers who now function as the WBA Board of Directors, were working directly with A.K. Sabir (RA) on the AWB initiative and were encourage by him on his dying bed at home, to move forward with his work and his vision. And so, in honor of him, we did.
